Sridharan Raghavachari (Sri Chari), Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Chari is a technology developer and engineering executive with over 50 years of practical experience in the engineering, manufacturing and energy service industries.  He has been in the ESCO business for the past 30 years. Mr. Chari has been at the forefront of developing unique, cost-effective control algorithms and strategies for energy savings in heating, cooling and ventilation (HVAC) systems, air compressors, refrigeration, process heating, pumping applications, and other commercial and industrial applications. He has conducted over 600 industrial and commercial building audits in Australia, China, Colombia, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates & the United States of America. In addition, Mr. Chari has conducted over 50 Investment Grade Audits (IGA) for commercial buildings such as hotels, hospitals, office building and malls, milk dairies and large-scale pumping stations. Mr. Chari earned his Bachelor of Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (R.I.T.), Trichy, University of Madras and he has lived in the USA since the early 1990s.

Jesse F. Sammis, III, Principal

Jesse “Sam” Sammis III has been active for over fifty years in real estate brokerage and development.

Sam began his real estate brokerage career with the Cross & Brown Company in New York City in 1963 and in 1968 joined Laird Properties, Inc. In 1971, Mr. Sammis formed New England Land Company, Ltd. specializing in real estate brokerage and development. In 1984, Mr. Sammis was the broker in the sale of 4,000 acres owned by Laurence and David Rockefeller in St. Croix, USVI.

As an active investor-developer Sam has participated in the following noteworthy projects with Stephen M. Ross, Chairman of The Related Companies:

  • The Centre at Purchase, an 850,000 square foot corporate office park. Purchase, New York (Owner)
  • The Centre at Greenwich, a mixed-use project including a 180,000 square foot office building and the 400 room Hyatt Regency Hotel (Owner)

Jess F. Sammis, IV, Principal

Jesse Sammis is the Founder and CEO of Third Branch Capital, a Venture Capital and advisory firm that he formed in the spring of 2006. Mr. Sammis served as a Senior Advisor to the Broker Dealer Avalon Net-Worth in Manhattan, NY starting in June 2014, and has been a partner at New England Land Company, Ltd since 2003. Prior to starting Third Branch Capital, Mr. Sammis worked in the financial services industry for Colburn International from 1993 to 2000 and Lenox Advisors from 2000 to 2003.
